\nI have several openings for below shifts starting next week.
\n8-4 Staten Island / 830-430, LIC / Queens 3 Different Shifts / Brooklyn ( 4- 5 days a week/2-10)
\n \nAs a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, medication administration, and ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.
\nDuties:
\n- Provide direct care and support to individuals in accordance with their personalized care plans
\n- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
\n- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any adverse reactions
\n- Perform first aid and basic medical procedures when necessary
\n- Respect and uphold the rights of residents, ensuring their dignity and privacy at all times
\n- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
\n- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
\n- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
\n- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses or hospice care providers, to ensure comprehensive care
\nRequirements:
\n- Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred
\n- Knowledge of medication administration and first aid procedures
\n- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need
\n- Valid driver's license for transportation purposes
\n- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
\n- Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
