Digital Marketing Specialist (Automotive Repair) - Remote | Hourly

Location: Work from home (with occasional on-site visits)

On-site Location: Tuscaloosa, AL (for photos/videos at the store)

Pay Type: Hourly

Estimated Hours: 4-10 hours per week

We’re a small automotive repair facility in Tuscaloosa, AL, and we’re looking for a creative, tech-savvy Digital Marketing Specialist to help us grow our online presence. This role is perfect for someone who loves making content, understands how to market digitally, and is comfortable using AI tools and modern tech to streamline work. Please supply references and examples of work you have done.

What You’ll Do

• Create marketing content for our business (social media, website support, ads as needed)
• Use AI and creative tools to generate content ideas, captions, and marketing assets
• Schedule and post content (where applicable)
• Capture shop and team content during brief visits in Tuscaloosa (photos + short videos)
• Help improve our online visibility (engagement, content quality, consistency)
• Collaborate with our team to highlight services, promotions, and customer trust

On-Site Visits (Tuscaloosa, AL)

• You’ll occasionally visit the shop to capture photos and video of the facility and teammates for content
• Visits are typically short and scheduled ahead of time

What We’re Looking For

• Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with AI tools and digital platforms
• Computer-savvy and able to learn our workflow quickly
• Ability to create engaging content that feels authentic to an automotive business
• Self-motivated and reliable (remote role)

Requirements

• A portfolio or examples of past content/marketing work (social pages, videos, ad examples, etc.)
• Basic understanding of social media marketing (Instagram/Facebook/TikTok/Google Business Profile- whatever fits your strengths)
• Reliable internet + ability to work from home

Schedule

• Estimated 4-10 hours per week
• Flexible work-from-home schedule (with content capture scheduled as needed)
